So I’m good to go. I’ve got everything packed (except of course my computer). I’ve said bye to my friends and family in the Soo, Wawa, Terrace Bay, and Thunder City. It was great to see every one of you, but sad to say goodbye. I’m really excited for the move though!
And I’m really looking forward to driving out there with my cousin, Brittany. She’s flying from Calgary to Winnipeg Tuesday morning. And we’re going to camp overnight in a few places on the way to Nellyville (Nelson, BC). Then we’ll start the ruckus times in Nellyville. I can’t wait.
Wish us a good journey. And I’ll come back with stories for you all. I love you all and I’ll miss you loads!

Where do I begin? I guess I’ll pick up after the ruckus night with Kenny.
So after writing that, I called Bearzy. I talked to him for a bit, and then I fell asleep on the couch. Not good. I was suppose to pull an all-nighter. Luckily, I woke up at 8:45am. My bus was to leave at 9am so I had to hurry. I packed my bags and woke up Eric and we headed to the Greyhound. Got there, got my ticket, went to the washroom, got a drink, then headed out for the bus. Too bad the bus was leaving. So that’s it. I missed my bus.
I had no idea what to do next, but I was pissed. I walked towards my place then decided to keep going towards the highway. I didn’t know what I was doing. I just knew that I was upset and had to walk it off. So I kept walking down the highway. Then I reached the city limits 3 hours later and decided to hitchike.
I got around pretty easily. And the people that stopped were nice. However, I did get this one couple that preached for nearly 30 minutes straight about Jesus. It was pretty intense and uncomfortable.
Anyways, after all of my rides, I ended up in Dubreuville of all places. It’s 50km from White River and 40km from Wawa. It’s seriously in the middle of nowhere. So I waited. And waited. And waited. Then it started to get dark. So I started skateboarding towards Wawa. Vehicles were passing me by and none of them stopped. I couldn’t and still can’t believe that so many people would leave a kid out on the highway in the middle of nowhere. So it was totally dark and I was waving at all of the vehicles passing by. I got lucky because a cop car pulled over and helped me. They gave me a ride to Wawa. Turns out I skated 18 or 19km’s.
So I got to Wawa and visited with my Grandmaman. Then caught the bus at 1:30am to the Sault. So I had a pretty adventurous day. It was full of its ups and downs. I’m just happy for two things. One. I made it to the Sault. Two. Thank god for my iPod.

Kenny came to town. It was the first time seeing him in a couple of months. So of course, the times were pretty ruckus. Started out by playing music for a couple of hours. We played a bunch of Brodie, Far From Heroes, (nothing to lose), Larger Than Life and the Contingency Plan. Good times for sure. “One day, I’ll stop breathing and one day, you’ll believe in meeeeeee”.
We watched a sweet biking video with Roy called 3 Nights Something… I forget the last word. But it was kick ass! Then we went to a pit party with Chels, Tutt, Madi, Mitchelle and Storm. It wasn’t too bad but we didn’t stay long. Then we went to Storm’s.
Storm’s was fun. We got some funny video there and just all chilled and had some good laughs.
I’m off to the Sault in a few hours. I’m really excited to see Wayne, my grandparents and my dad.
Oh, I also said bye to Baxter today. That sucked because I haven’t seen much of him in the last few months and we’re both moving away. I’m moving to Nelson, BC and he’s moving to Calgary. So we’ll only be about 6 hours away from eachother, but I doubt we’d see much of eachother out there anyway. But ya. That was a little rough saying bye to him. It hit me after he left.
Kenny wants to write a little blurb before we continue here. So here he is:
Hey. Tonight was just what I needed, a few too many drinks and good tunes. I am fortunate enough to know such a character as Nelson.
It was my first night in Thunder city as a single guy, and although it’s tough, I know my friends have got my back. Keep checking to hear all the stories of my summer in Nelson’s blog. More Heli-rides than I can coun’t, 4 sure! Take care. Goodnight
Oh and tonight I somehow grew a new odd-looking mustache while I was asleep. Storm, you prick.

I’ve been hooked on Tom’s new show Tom Green LIVE on the Channel for the last month. It’s amazing. I mean, the guy built a studio in his living room! How cool is that?! It’s broadcast live on the internet Mon-Thurs at 11pm est. And get this. YOU CAN CALL IN. That’s right! It’s a phone in show. Now that’s awesome. Actually, he’s trying to start a network with live shows broadcast 24/7. The new show added is on right after Tom Green LIVE and it’s called Girl Talk. And I can’t wait for HORSE BANGING POTS WITH A WOODEN SPOON which premieres next week. You gotta check it out.
His website has a lot more to offer than just the shows too. Tom has his own personal blog which he writes in daily and posts videos. There’s a fan e-mail section. You can write something to Tom and ask him questions and get this…he actually replies! They also started something called Deputy blogs. Now, to become a Deputy you have to be dedicated to the site. If Tom deputizes you, you get your own personal blog on tomgreen.com. When you’re a deputy you get special video assignments from the Sheriff – Jack Cooper that you have to post in your blog.
You guys should definitely check it out. Oh, and don’t forget to take a little gander at the On Demand section. You can search through the directory for some of your favourite videos from the website and past episodes of Tom Green LIVE.
If you want to check out a preview of what Tom Green LIVE is all about, watch this video
Peace and love,
Nelson
